The Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter Group promotes the sustainable use of Pembrokeshire’s landscapes for recreational and leisure activities. The aim of the group which is made up of adventure activity providers working in partnership with conservation bodies and local authorities is to ensure that adventurous activities do not negatively impact on Pembrokeshire’s beautiful coastline, local communities and the wide variety of wildlife that call the area ‘home’.Â
The ‘Outdoor Charter’ asks organisations and individuals to operate to an established standard which focuses on, protecting the natural environment, operating safely, showing consideration for local communities, reducing wider environmental impact and sharing this with others.
